Keeps on gettikng hung up and says “I am Confused”. Don’t have time for this. Please fix this app!

The app was working fine then recently went dead (after Super Bowl 50) . It just dead, no open, no execute, no react to click , whatever you described…Both MenuTab pro and GO for Facebook

Due to Facebook constantly releasing updates to the website, the app itself doesn’t keep up to any of the new features and creates bugs for the user. Like the new video layout causing comments and everything to mess up where you can’t scroll to see comments on the video. Would love to give 5 stars if they would update the app more often...

all the colors are messed up when i view facebook with your app. the colors are fine on everything else that I use

The latest update has me looking for a new app. The notification panel loads half off my screen now that the panel is located on the left side of the header. Webpages load within the app instead of opening a new window, and when I hit the back button, it loses my place on my feed so I cannot reply. Meh. Hopefully improvement soon because I did really enjoy this app.

UPDATE: the random refresh is STILL happening. Its maddening. And just this week its decided that any link I click is going to open in the same window - losing my place in the news feed and if I click the back button it just takes me to the newest item at the top of the feed... Its so frustrating! :( ********* Its super handy... except that its recently decided that it will refresh the page randomly regardless of what youre doing. Ive lost posts that I was in the provess of creating for pages, lost track of a video that I was in the middle of watching, and other VERY annoying issues when the page just refreshes and throws me back to the top of the page. Without this bug, it could be an excellent app.

Throughout the years I’ve used several different Facebook apps for my Mac. I used MenuTab before it was suggested to use Go for Facebook with the new OS update. This app has ben working beautifully until the most recent update. The only issue I have is for whatever reason when I first start typing either a comment or status update my computer makes the annoying bong noise as if I were trying to type in an area that wasn’t meant for text, or just like when you’re typing without having the cursor active in an input area. It has gotten to the point where it’s driving me nuts. Besides that, the app is perfect! Hopefully you can figure out what is causing the bong noise and release an update for it. :)

This app keeps frrezing up. I have to restart my macbook everytime i use this app

I switched from using MenuTab to this app becuase it was more polished… … not anymore since the latest updates :( When you clicked on links, they used to open in an external browser. Now, they open in-app and crash the app 50% of the time. In general, it’s been very buggy / crashed around a dozen times per day on me, which NEVER used to happen. Calling Devs: bring back the stability and my review will change to 5 stars!!

Click on Go for Facebook app and nothig happens. It was working until this week. ????

It is a good program, but it sticks with black screens and pictures get stuck sometimes. It just needs more work…I am sure that what I add is no more than what has already been posted. I WILL stick with it while things are fixed, because what does work is really pretty nice.

I’ve run into a problem ever since FB updated their SSL certificate system and tried to make it backward compatible. All browsers are reporting SSL errors. Only Firefox provides any useful information - SSL header too long. Probably the rigging FB does to make their newer SSL cert backward compatible doesn’t fit into the size of an SSL handshake my Mac is looking for. I’m not sure if it’s related to IPV6 or not, but that’s a possibility. The app “Go for Facebook” just works and provides all the needed functionality even when all other browsers are breaking (Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari). I have had no issues whatsoever with the app and find it handy to have in the menu bar just a click away. I don’t really hang out in FB all that much, but it’s just a click away. The (default) option to hide FB ads is a very nice touch too. Right-click the icon and go to Preferences to look at the variety of options including autocorrect (default OFF).

So the app is convenient but buggy.. you get a notification of red that you have new notifications on facebook.. when you open the app.. and click on notifications nothing happens.. it sorta locks up and you have to click it multiple times to finally get it to open.. not a huge fan.. better off just having a web page link on my desktop to Facebook

I always thought that this app was the be all end all of Facebook app. It used to work like a dream, compared to Menutab for Facebook, but lately it has become a different story. It’s slow, buggy and at times it would freeze up on me for no apparent reason at all. I tried to reset the application, logging out and in it seems to not work through those efforts. If you’re planning on downloading this application, beware that through extended use, this application will become buggy and unresponsive for you. Beware and be smart of third party applications of any social media services, read the reviews like the one that you’re reading right now.
